What is EspoVersus?
EspoVersus is a skill-based competitive eSports tournament platform for mobile gamers in India. Players compete in skill-based 1v1, 2v2 and 4v4 tournaments and matches and can earn performance-based rewards. The Platform is for users aged 18 and above.
What is the minimum age to play?
You must be at least 18 years old to create an Account and join paid tournaments. We use age-gating and KYC verification to help prevent underage access.
How do I create an account?
Download the app, register with a valid mobile number or email, choose a unique username, and confirm that you are 18 or older. Each person may hold only one Account, and the information you provide must be accurate.
How do I add money (Deposit) to my Wallet?
Open your Wallet in the app and add funds using an approved payment method. Deposits are processed by secure third-party payment partners. Your Deposit balance can be used to pay Entry Fees.
How do withdrawals and KYC work?
To withdraw eligible Winnings, you must first complete KYC (identity verification, such as PAN, e.g. ABCDE1234F). Once verified, you can request a Withdrawal to your bank account or UPI. Withdrawals are typically processed within 24 to 72 hours, and a minimum amount may apply.
How do entry fees and prizes work?
Each Tournament shows its Entry Fee, rules, and prize structure before you join. Entry Fees cover administrative costs and prize pools. Winnings are performance-based and credited to your Wallet once results are confirmed. A transparent platform service fee applies and is disclosed up front.
Is EspoVersus a game of skill?
Yes. Tournaments and Matches are skill-based competitive contests decided by player skill, strategy, and performance under predefined rules. EspoVersus is not a gambling or betting platform.
What happens if someone cheats?
Cheating, hacks, bots, mods, multi-accounting, and collusion are strictly prohibited. We use anti-cheat and device-integrity checks. Penalties range from a warning to temporary or permanent bans and forfeiture of Winnings. You can report cheating through the in-app reporting tool.
Can I get a refund?
Entry Fees are refunded if a Tournament or Match is cancelled or abandoned due to a Platform issue. There is no refund if you disconnect or leave mid-Match for reasons on your side, in which case the last recorded result governs. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
What if I lose connection during a match?
If you disconnect or leave a Match, the last recorded result generally governs and Entry Fees are not refunded. Please ensure a stable internet connection and a compatible mobile device before joining.
How can I play responsibly and set limits?
You can set self-imposed deposit and time limits (daily, weekly, or monthly), enable reality-check reminders, or choose temporary or permanent self-exclusion from your settings. If you need support, call the free Tele-MANAS helpline at 14416, or reach the SHUT Clinic at NIMHANS.
How is my personal data protected?
We collect only the data we need, store it on servers located in India, and process it under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You can access, correct, or erase your data and nominate someone to exercise your rights. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete my account?
You can request account deletion from the app settings. On deletion, your personally identifiable information is masked or anonymised, while anonymised records required for legal, financial, and anti-fraud purposes are retained as permitted by law.
How do I contact support or raise a grievance?
Use the in-app support section or email support@espoversus.com for general help. For formal grievances, contact the Grievance Officer, EspoVersus at grievance@espoversus.com. We acknowledge grievances within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
